As the school calendar turns to March, the Ken-Ton Farm to School Program is celebrating all things breakfast! National School Breakfast Week runs from March 6-10 and our Ken-Ton school cafeterias will be featuring several surprise specialty items.
We’re also providing a take-home opportunity for 7th graders. The take-home kit is an apple cinnamon oatmeal and is available to all 7th grade students in the Ken-Ton School District. The deadline to sign up is March 8th at 8:30 a.m. with kits being sent home with students on March 15th. To sign up click here.
Ken-Ton’s harvest of the month is beans and cabbage, with both items used in several ways on this month’s lunch menu. Students will have the opportunity to try fiesta beans, coleslaw, and sweet & sour cabbage. You can find this month's lunch menu below.
