'Collegiate Corridor' Celebrates College-Bound Graduates
Kenmore East High School is celebrating the achievements of its college-bound graduating seniors with the Collegiate Corridor, an annual tradition of the Kenmore East counseling department.
The Collegiate Corridor represents an impressive display of banners of all the colleges and universities the Class of 2019 has been accepted into, as well as photographs of the students who have been accepted into those institutions.
The purpose of the display is not only to celebrate those who have been accepted into and will be attending higher education institutions in the fall, but also to inspire all students to consider higher education.
As in previous years, a wide range of higher education institutions are represented including local colleges and universities such as Buffalo State College and Canisius College, which will have the largest number of Kenmore East alumni attending in the fall, as well as colleges and universities across the state and nation including Ithaca College, Ohio State University, Rochester Institute of Technology, University of Vermont, St. John Fisher College, and Roberts Wesleyan College.
The Kenmore East High School counseling staff also took a moment to showcase the colleges and universities they attended.
