Weber, Willard Earn NYSPHSAA Sportsmanship Awards

Kenmore bowlers Kaelynn Weber and Jake Willard competed in the NYSPHSAA Bowling Championships this past weekend. Each bowler was selected to represent Section VI following their individual performances at the area meet in February.

Weber, along with the Section VI composite girls team, won the state title by one pin, bowling a six-game total 6284 in their division. Weber was honored with the sportsmanship award among all Section Vi girl competitors.

Willard, along with the Section VI boys composite team, won the state runners-up title, bowling a six-game 6504 total. Willard individually bowled a six-game 1388, good enough for 2nd among all composite division bowlers. He, like Weber, was also awarded the sportsmanship award among all Section VI competitors.
