Ken-Ton Swimmers Sign NLI with Canisius University

Two Ken-Ton swimmers are going to be continuing their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level!

Kenmore East's Alex Schuler and Kenmore West's Brady Garcia were both honored in a ceremony on November 13th inside the Kenmore Jr/Sr High School Auditorium. Both signed their letters of intent with Canisius University, a Division-I swim program.

Brady has been swimming with the Kenmore Devil-Dogs (combined swim team) since 7th grade and is the current school record holder in both the 200 and 500 Freestyle. His list of accomplishments this season include: Section VI champion in the 500 yard freestyle; Niagara Frontier League Champion in the 200 & 500 yard freestyle, the 200 medley relay, and the 400 freestyle relay; and qualifying for the NYS Championship in the 200 & 500 freestyle.

Alex has also been a part of the Kenmore Devil-Dogs team since 7th grade and is the current Kenmore East pool record holder in the 100 backstroke. This season's accomplishments include: the Niagara Frontier League Champion in the 100 yard backstroke, the 200 medley relay, and the 400 free relay; and qualifying for the NYS Championship.
