The Kenmore-Grand Island-Lockport girls hockey team are Section VI champions once again!

On Monday, February 12th, the KenGI-Port girls defeated no. 1 seed Niagara County 3-2 in the Section VI championship game played at Buffalo State University. It was the team's 3rd straight Section VI title.

With the win, the team advances to the Far-West Regional round which will be held Wednesday, February 14th at 6 p.m. at Buffalo State. The winner will advance to the NYSPHSAA Regional Championships this weekend in Utica.
