Mrs. Pickering began teaching in the Kenmore Town of Tonawanda UFSD in September 2004. Before coming to KenTon, she taught in Rush Henrietta and at Summit Educational Reources.She has many interests and hobbies outside of teaching her 6th graders. Mrs. Pickering is the New York State coordinator for Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue, Inc. RRRI is a national non-for-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and rehoming Rhodesian Ridgebacks in needs. She teaches Itsy Bitsy Yoga at East Meets West Yoga Studio on Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo, NY. She is also an adjunct professor at Buffalo Sate College. As if that isn't enough to keep her busy, she has a two-year old son!
