The United Nations is an international body created at the end of WWII to promote world peace and cooperation among countries. The Model UN is a club that enters into competitions and conferences wherein all the participants pretend they are one of the countries in the United Nations. Like the real United Nations conferences, these mock conferences address the issues in our world that threaten peace and the issues that threaten the individual safety and liberty of all the persons on earth.
