Kenmore East Performing Arts Hall of Fame

The Kenmore East Performing Arts Hall of Fame has been established to recognize the rich legacy of talent that has been connected with the school over the past 50+ years.  It will honor contributions to the arts by students, alumni, faculty, administrators and members of the community, associated with Kenmore East High School.

A special ceremony, personal awards and a "perpetual" plaque will be used to recognize these talented individuals on an annual basis, in the fields of theater, drama, visual arts (TV/film), music and dance.

There are three categories for honorees:

    • Performers- based on achievement in the arts beyond high school.
    • Contributors- which includes directors, administrators, support crew, etc.
    • Honorary- other individuals who have made a significant impact on the Kenmore East performing arts programs or at the professional level.

A nomination form is available to propose eligible candidates and a nominating committee has been established to review these and any supporting material.  Nominations for the Class of 2011 must be received by January 15.  Decisions will be made over the winter to accommodate a spring ceremony.  The 2011 event will be held on Friday, May 20.
