Here's some background information on me:
1991 - graduate of Kenmore West Senior High School - NYS Regents Diploma with Honors1993-1997 - Served active duty in the United States Marine Corps - Honorable Discharge in 20002002 - Earned B.S. in Education, Magna Cum Laude, State University College at Buffalo2007 - Earned M.S. in Education, Cum Laude, State University College at Buffalo
After working two years for Buffalo City Schools, I was hired in Ken-Ton for the 2004-2005 academic school year. My area of certification is Special Education. My primary teaching goals are to increase student engagement through purposeful classroom management and to provide engaging, common core aligned and student centered lessons in order to motivate learners to maximize each student's learning potential.
Currently, I co-teach Earth Science (for the 11th year in a row) with the internationally renowned Mr. Ralph Critelli and I have several resource room classes. In addition to teaching, I am the Department Chair for Special Education. I also have two daughters who attend Ken-Ton schools.
