    Who will be there:

     

    American Red Cross  
     
    • Blood drive (free T-Shirt to first 100 donors sponsored by Kenmore Teachers Association)
    • You must be 16 years old to donate blood.  If you are 16 on or before October 11, you will need to have a form filled out signed by a parent or guardian. No form required for 17 and older.
    • Michael DePasquale and other volunteers will be signing people up and will be handing out forms on Thursday, October 6th and Friday, October 7th outside the auditorium.

     

         The American Red Cross will also have an information booth on how to donote blood plasma.  You will be able to sign up to donate blood plasma, but since it takes a couple hours you would need to go to the American Red Cross building in Buffalo to actually donate. A video should be available to view to show what this involves.

     
     
    Be The March
     
         Bone marrow drive and registry.  You must be 18 years old to donate.  Donors will fill out a registration form with contact information and health history and then a cheek swab is taken so tissue type can be determined.  The potential donor is then added to the nationwide registry.  If a match is made, you will then be asked to donate.
