Kenmore East Places First at Physics OlympicsOn Saturday, December 3, 2016, over 40 teams from schools across Western New York participated in the Physics Olympics at Buffalo State. Students from the Ken-Ton district had the highest number of participants, with representatives in grades 6-12 from Kenmore East, Franklin Middle, Kenmore West, and some of the parochial schools.I'm proud to say that a team from Kenmore East placed 1st in the High School division! They crushed the competition in this event by receiving the maximum score possible! The students in the photo are (from the left): Mara Volle, Will Crosby, Jeremy Lopat, and Juliana Colwell. I should point out that Mara is an 8th grader, and Jeremy is in grade 9. Neither of them are physics students -yet. Their contributions to the team were excellent and the 12th graders were terrific in their friendship and support to their younger colleagues.Congratulations also to the other team members: Joe Kuschke (12), John Kuschke (12), and Owen Manch (9). In all, they represented our school in true Bulldog fashion. Please congratulate them if you see them.
