Capital Project

Ken-Ton School District voters approved a $75 million Capital Project on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Construction began in the spring of 2021 and is scheduled to conclude in 2026. This project includes water pipe replacement at all schools, more secured entrances at all schools, necessary classroom additions at three schools, a new artificial turf athletic field at Kenmore East, new bus loops and pick-up/drop-off loops, and much more.

This is in addition to the 2009 Capital Project (completed in 2014) and the 2014 Capital Project (completed in 2018). By 2026, more than $175 million will have been invested in school buildings and athletic facilities, most of which has been funded by NYS Building Aid.
