How to Find Your Child’s Bus Information

• Kindergarten/special education families will receive letters with bus information the week of August 24th.
  • Note: Because bus information could change after letters are mailed, it is important for these families to be prepared to check the Parent Portal or My Ride K-12.
• All other families must log into My Ride K-12 or the Parent Portal to access their bus information beginning August 22nd.

Families are strongly encouraged to check their child’s bus information the day before the first day of school (which is Wednesday, September 2nd) in case of last-minute changes.

Find Bus Information Using the ‘My Ride K-12’ Tool

• My Ride K-12 is a tool that is now operational on all buses and provides an estimated time of arrival for your child’s bus, so we encourage all families to sign up.
• To Sign Up: Visit myridek12.tylerapp.com or download the My Ride K-12 app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Note: You’ll need your child’s 9-digit student ID number and birthdate to create an account. You can find your child’s student ID number in the Parent Portal.

Find Bus Information or 9-Digit Student ID Number On the Parent Portal

• If you have an account, visit www.ktufsd.org/portal. After logging in, select your child, choose More in the menu, and select Transportation to access bus information. To find the 9-digit student ID number, select the Today option.
• If you do not have an account, email ICPortal@ktufsd.org for an activation key which you will need to create your account.

Who To Contact For Help

• Families are strongly encouraged to access My Ride K-12 or the Parent Portal for their children’s bus information.
• If necessary, your child’s school will be able to provide basic routing information including bus number and bus time.
• For assistance accessing Parent Portal, email ICPortal@ktufsd.org or call 716-871-2090.
• To reach the Transportation Department, email transportation_office@ktufsd.org or call 716-874-8611. Due to the very high volume of calls/emails received at the beginning of the year, you may not be able to reach someone right away.
