Goal 1: The Board will advance the Ken-Ton Forward Strategic Plan
Objectives:
The Board will continue to monitor and support social-emotional wellness activities designed to ease post-Covid student/staff/faculty transition to full-time in-person instruction
The Board will continue initiatives that align with the Board's resolution on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
The Board will monitor procedures and regulations that the district has put in place to continue to improve the safety of students and staff in our schools and at all school events.
Goal 2: The Board will continue to improve communication with parents and stakeholders
Objectives:
The Board will continue to host occasional community forums and improve the format for those forums to foster better efficiency
The Board president and one other Board member will attend each of the 4 Parent Cabinet meetings during the year
Goal 3: The Board recognizes that student success is directly related to attendance in school
Objectives:
The Board will monitor and support district initiatives to support student engagement with the overall goal of improving attendance
The Board will monitor and support district initiatives intended to improve our suspension rates.
