Community Education

As the leading provider of community education in Western New York, we offer hundreds of courses during three sessions (fall, winter and spring/summer) each year. We provide the latest in recreational, vocational, educational and fun programming for all residents of Western New York.

These are just some of the opportunities that are and have been available through the Community Education Catalog:

• Courses for learners of all ages and experience
• Occupational courses in a variety of areas, including computer skills, babysitting training, and notary public preparation
• Hobbies and activities such as crocheting,  knitting, water exercise, quilting, and painting
• Fitness/Yoga classes
• Health and wellness
• Computer classes
• Financial topics such as retirement, health insurance, Medicare, budgeting, and Social Security
• Sports and fitness programs for all ages

Registration Information

• Online: Register online at any time using your credit card by visiting the online registration link to the left.
• In Person: Register in-person by visiting the Community Education Department office located at 155 Delaware Road, Room 122 Monday-Friday from 8am-3:30pm (excluding school district holidays and recesses). You can also drop off your completed registration form (located in the back of the Community Education Catalog) with payment at Door #1 any time Kenmore Junior/Senior High School is open (usually, Monday-Friday from 8:00am-3:30pm).
• By Mail: Mail your completed registration form (located in the Community Education Catalog) with payment (check or credit card information only - NO CASH please!) to the Community Education Department at 155 Delaware Road, Buffalo, NY 14217.
• Please ensure a completed waiver is included with your course registration. 

Refund Information

Requests for refunds or transfers must be made in writing and received by the Community Education Department at least 5 business days before the scheduled beginning of a course, excluding courses with a specific registration deadline. School holidays and weekends are not considered business days. A $10.00 processing charge will be applied in all instances. A minimum number of students is needed to run classes. Therefore, no refunds or transfers will be issued after the first session of a class.

Waiver

A waiver form must be filled out by all students who are participating in any Ken-Ton Community Education class. If you register online, you will be electronically signing the waiver. If you register by mail or in person, you must include a signed waiver with your registration form and will not be considered registered until it has been received.
