Summer Music

The Ken-Ton School District Music Department is excited to offer a Summer Music Program which includes Gr. 5-12 band, orchestra, and jazz camps as well as beginner music lessons. Students from throughout Western New York are invited to participate.

All Ken-Ton School District students participating in summer music can be provided an instrument at no charge (students must contact their current music teacher to obtain an instrument).

The deadline to apply for all summer music programs is June 19th. You can find more details about each program in the flyers below.

  • Summer Orchestra: Summer Orchestra Camps for students in Gr. 5-12 will take place from July 13th-16th at the Franklin Complex. Registration is $90 for Intermediate Orchestra and $95 for Advanced Orchestra.
  • Summer Band: Summer Band Camp for students in Gr. 5-12 will take place from July 20th-23rd at the Franklin Complex. Registration is $90 for intermediate Band and $95 for Advanced Band.
  • Summer Jazz: Two jazz camps will also be offered - a beginner camp and an advanced camp. Both camps will be July 6th-9th at the Franklin Complex.  Registration for Intro to Jazz camp is $55 and Advanced Jazz for $65. Students can also participate in advanced band camp AND jazz camp for only $125.
  • Beginner Lessons: Weekly small-group beginner lessons (a five-week program) are also available for students who are learning to play an instrument for the first time. The lesson fee is $85 and lessons will take place at the Franklin Complex.
