•  Homework Policy               homework

Homework is to be completed on the day assigned.  I do not accept excuses from students but will accept a written explanation from a parent or guardian if the homework is not completed.

If students are absent they will receive a homework envelope with their assignments.  This  work should be completed as soon as possible

If students  do not complete homework or reading steps they have their clip moved on the behavior chart.  If students get planners signed all week and all homeowork is completed for week they will earn additional Dojos.  Ms. Scott will contact parents if student does not complete homework regularly.

    Studying for Tests                          test

Both our science and social studies programs require that many new vocabulary words and concepts be learned.  Reading, rereading, reviewing, and studying will be important.  To prepare for end of unit tests, take advantage of days when your child finishes their homework quickly.  Spend your time reviewing and studying material from their folders and notes.  I will usually send home a study guide or review sheet before all social studies and science tests.
