The Race Unity Club's African-American History Contest starts at 7:45 am on 3/16/11 and ends at 9:00 am on 3/17/11.
All Kenmore East students and staff are eligible to participate except the adviser and members of the Race Unity and Diversity Club.
On March 16th, the contest questionnaire will be posted as an attachment here. This saves a lot of paper as the questionnaire is several pages' worth of material. To see last year's contest follow this link: Black History Contest
To be considered a top contender, your contest answer sheet must be returned to Mr. Kresge in Room 355 by 9:00 am on 3/17/11. You may continue to hand in test forms until the end of the school day, 3:15 pm, on Thursday, March 17th. Scores are based on the highest number of questions correct with the earliest turn-in time.
Prizes will be awarded to the top 10 student scores and the top 5 faculty scores. Possible awards include: cash awards, pairs of tickets to the Junior and Senior Proms, 2010-2011 KE yearbooks for the highest scores in each grade level, gift certificates to local businesses, movie passes and many others prizes to be determined at a later date.
Please contact Mr. Kresge for any questions.
