    COCA-COLA SCHOLARS PROGRAM

                Eligibility:  Seniors may apply online at https://www.coca-colascholarsfoundation.org/ 

                Amounts:  One hundred fifty $20,000 scholarships will be awarded

                Deadline:  October 31 at 5 p.m.

     

    ELKS MOST VALUABLE STUDENT SCHOLARSHIP

                Eligibility:  Seniors pursuing a four-year degree may apply.  Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need.  Go to www.elks.org/scholars/scholarships/mvs.cfm

                Amounts:  Awards range from $1,000 per year to $12,500 per year

                Deadline:  November 15

     

    EXCELSIOR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

                Eligibility:  go to https://www.hesc.ny.gov/pay-for-college/financial-aid/types-of-financial-aid/nys-grants-scholarships-awards/the-excelsior-scholarship.html    

    Applicants must be residents of New York State for 12 continuous months prior to beginning of the term, be a U.S. citizen.   Students must be pursuing an undergraduate degree at a SUNY or CUNY college, including community colleges and the statutory colleges at Cornell University and Alfred University. 

                Amounts:  up to $5,500.  Please note that the COVID -19 pandemic has dramatically reduced state revenues and the processing of new applications is pending on Federal assistance.  Excelsior Scholarship awards may have to be reduced and/or prioritized under the program.

    HEISMAN HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP MOST VALUABLE STUDENT       

                Eligibility:  High school senior athletes that excel in the classroom, on the field, and in the community are eligible.

                Amounts:  $500 (state winners), $1,000 (national finalists), $5,000 (national winners)

                Deadline:  October 19

     

    NATIONAL SOCIETY DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION

       (DAR) AWARDS

                Eligibility:  Seniors may apply.  Awards are based on academic excellence, commitment to the field of study, and/or financial need.  Go to www.dar.org/national-society/scholarships

                Amounts:  awards range from $500-$5,000

                Deadline:  January 31 (applications not accepted until November 1) 

     

    PRUDENTIAL SPIRIT OF COMMUNITY AWARDS

                Eligibility:  go to www.prudential.com/links/about/emergingvisionaries to apply online.  Students ages 14 – 18 may apply. 

                Amounts:  up to $15,000

                Deadline:  November 4

     

    ZOMBIE APOCALYPE SCHOLARSHIP

                Eligibility:  applicants must be 14 years of age or older and must submit an online written response.

                Amount:  $2,000

                Deadline:  October 31
