Learn English as a Second Language in Kenmore, Tonawanda & Buffalo, NY
The Adult Education Department offers instruction to anyone who is interested in learning to speak, read, write, listen, and comprehend English regardless of where they live or educational background. Our English classes are structured to help you develop and excel at being an English speaker. While the path to learn English may be hard, the instructors at Kenmore-Town of Tonawanda are here to help you throughout each class.
Students from nearly every continent have participated in this program including many from Middle Eastern countries such as Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Jordan, as well as Myanmar, South Sudan, Kosovo, Ukraine and the Dominican Republic. Many are adults in the Kenmore, Tonawanda, and Buffalo, NY community who have children attending Ken-Ton Schools.
This program is offered in partnership with SUNY Erie and is led by highly qualified instructors. Anyone over the age of 17 is eligible to participate in this program. Not only are these skills important for everyday life in the United States, but you can also apply them within your work, education, and citizenship.
