Holmes Elementary has a school psychologist, Mrs. Metzger, who is available to consult with staff and parents regarding learning and behavior issues. Sometimes our Instructional Support Team requests information regarding student progress. Mrs. Metzger can observe the student and his/her work, interview the student and teacher and administer norm-referenced, standardized or curriculum-based measures including: behavior, intelligence, and achievement measures. Mrs. Metzger also coordinates all referrals to the Committee on Special Education and the 504 Accomodation Team.
