Dr. Denise Grandits - Assistant Principal
Dear Kenmore West Families:
It is my honor to continue working with you as an Assistant Principal at Kenmore West High School! I take great pride in our Kenmore West community. My family has a deep connection to Kenmore West and there is no place I'd rather be than right here, right now. Together with the faculty and staff at West, I will work respectfully to help your child grow into the best possible version of themselves.
High school is an exciting and challenging time for all of our students. As our young people search for who they are, I hope to support their academic, emotional, and social growth. Our job as a collective community is to foster students’ interests and passions and to provide them with the experiences and tools they need to build a successful life.
I firmly believe in building strong home, community, and school connections. It truly does take a village and I am honored to be a part of our village. Through respectful, caring, trusting relationships, each of us plays a pivotal role in helping our children become all they can be. The Japanese poet, Ryunosuke Satoro, once wrote, "Individually, we are one drop. Together, we are an ocean." When we come together, anything is possible.
During this school year, I will be working primarily with 10th, 11th and 12th grades. My office is located in the main office. Please contact me by e-mail (dgrandits@ktufsd.org) or phone (716-874-8401 x 21505) if I can be of any assistance.
Here's to a great year! Go Devils!
Respectfully,
Dr. Denise Grandits
